Our Sustainable Development Goals

Our Priority Sustainable Development Goals

SDG 2 – Zero Hunger

Projects in Action

Libya – FLEDI Program (2024)

Under the FLEDI Program, coordinated by CIHEAM Bari and AICS, Rapanelli supplied tractors, implements, and advanced water pumping systems to rural communities in the Fezzan region. Training and commissioning ensured that local operators could maintain and use the equipment effectively.
Impact: Increased crop yields, improved water resilience, and stronger institutional partnerships for agricultural modernization.
Relevant SDGs: SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, SDG 6 – Clean Water, SDG 13 – Climate Action, SDG 17 – Partnerships.



Libya – EFEF PLUS Phase 2

As the exclusive procurement and logistics partner for CIHEAM Bari, Rapanelli delivered tractors, combine harvesters, and equipment for cereal production in Sebha. On-site commissioning and technical training built long-term skills among more than 10 local operators.
Impact: Strengthened cereal production capacity, reduced donor dependency, and ensured continuity for community livelihoods.

Libya – Maritime Security Training

Through RAM LogServ, Rapanelli commissioned and delivered two Novamarine patrol boats to the Libyan Coast Guard. A structured 30-hour training program, combining classroom learning and sea trials, certified six full crews.
Impact: Enhanced maritime security, independent operational capacity, and long-term skills for coastal protection.

Algeria – Olive Processing Plant (2023)

Rapanelli engineered, supplied, and installed a continuous olive oil processing plant in Jijel with a capacity of 24 tons/day. Local operators were trained in both theory and hands-on practice to ensure independent plant operation and maintenance.
Impact: Boosted national olive oil output, transferred technology, and created sustainable expertise in Algeria’s agri-food sector.

Serbia – FAO Agricultural Support (2023)

Commissioned by FAO, Rapanelli delivered tractors and implements tailored to smallholder farms. Local farmers received practical training, ensuring immediate and safe use of the new machinery.
Impact: Increased productivity for Serbian cooperatives, full FAO compliance, and scalable models for micro-mechanization.

Mexico – Avocado Oil Processing (2018)

Rapanelli coordinated the international procurement and commissioning of an industrial avocado oil line, integrating crushers and centrifugal separators. Local operators were trained to ensure daily autonomy.
Impact: High-quality avocado oil production meeting export standards, sustainable industrial setup, and long-term processing capacity.
