Fezzan, the southern region of Libya, has suffered from long-standing political instability and economic stagnation. Years of underinvestment and limited access to modern agricultural equipment had severely hindered local farming productivity and community resilience.
Delivering equipment across fragmented logistics routes, ensuring quality compliance, and coordinating with local authorities in a fragile environment represented significant challenges for the project.

- Over 760 cubic meters of agricultural machinery successfully delivered across four municipalities.
- Technical training provided to local stakeholders on machinery operation and maintenance.
- Laboratory infrastructure enhanced to support sustainable agricultural practices.
- Strengthened Italian-Libyan cooperation, with the handover ceremony attended by high-level dignitaries including the Italian Ambassador and the Libyan Minister of Local Government.
Impact
